Meet the Mediators

 Dawn Melville graduated from the  University of Windsor in 1992, and was called to the bar in 1994, and  she has maintained my own practice in association with Robert Ballance  since 1995.  Dawn’s litigation practice is limited to Family Law and  Estate matters and she has served her profession in various capacities.   Dawn is the past president of the Family Law Association, a past  executive director for the Ontario Bar Association, and former council  member of the Ontario Bar Association, and executive director of the  Essex Law Association. Dawn has been the presenter at seminars offered  by the Law Society of Upper Canada and Law Pro and was a seasonal instructor at the University of Windsor. Dawn’s practice has expanded to  include mediation services, and she currently operates the Conflict  Mediation & Resolution Center. Dawn was one of the former  owner/operators of Bridging Family Conflict an organization which  successfully obtained one of the government projects offered under the 4  Pillars Initiative, and continues to provide both on – site Court based  mediation services and off – site mediation services locally.
